VON L. PIERSALL, III
Attorney Von L. Piersall, III established his practice in 2001 and has grown to become one of the most-well known law firms specializing in personal injury, criminal law and family law.
Mr. Piersall earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from East Carolina University, a Master of Science in Counseling from Longwood College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond. His prior career included devoting his time working with young people entering the juvenile justice system at the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice. In addition, he worked at the Pines Treatment Center and a group home in Norfolk.
Mr. Piersall had matters heard favorably in Virginia courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals. He has tried cases in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Piersall has served as a Divorce Commissioner for Portsmouth Circuit Court and on the Portsmouth's Juvenile Conference Committee for the Friends of Portsmouth Juvenile Court. He serves as court appointed counsel with Portsmouth Courts providing adequate representation to indigent clients. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Treasurer of the Portsmouth Bar Association.
